Who doesn’t love a cupcake? And who wouldn’t be touched by the sweet gesture of having one personally delivered?
Sweet Monday, a grassroots women’s ministry founded in Richmond, VA more than 25 years ago, has started a movement!
Project Cupcake is designed to help women develop and deepen outreach opportunities and relationships with friends, colleagues, and strangers in their communities. Just as Samaritan’s Purse provides empty shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child®, Sweet Monday provides all-inclusive kits – clear cellophane bags, labels, and instructions – free of charge, to be filled by the participants and delivered to their “neighbors.” Participants can also sign up to receive Project Cupcake labels and directions sent directly to their email inbox.
In today’s disconnected and divisive society, Project Cupcake offers a tasty and tangible way to connect with each other and with Christ. Crossing party lines and front lawns, women everywhere can carry cupcakes and connect women and their families to life-changing relationships with one another and with Christ.
Launched on September 1, 2019, Project Cupcake extends through Sweet Monday’s silver anniversary year. Sweet Monday has a goal of distributing at least 25,000 Project Cupcake bags worldwide. Project Cupcake engages entire communities, building momentum to create community and combat the loneliness that has become epidemic in our modern society.
Would you like to join us the movement? Sign up and we will send you your all-inclusive kits.
