Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. 1 Corinthians 13:12 (NLT)
This month we took our Sweet Monday ladies on a Fall Foliage Ride into the New Hampshire mountains. We waited until mid-October so that the colors would be near peak.
One stop was at Beaver Pond in Kinsman Notch and the other was in Lincoln, NH, to have our devotion. I told them about my brother who just had his second cataract surgery and how he was so excited to see the brilliant fall colors for the first time in many years! Basing the devotion on 1 Corinthians 13:12, I explained the difference between our physical eyes and our spiritual eyes.
It was a wonderful time together admiring how God embellishes our world with His paint brush this time of year and in each season! On the way home we stopped by the Ice Cream Parlor in Plymouth, NH, to have a treat.
