His story can be your story. You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer. Below is a suggested prayer:
Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door to receive You as Lord and Savior of my life. Save me from my sin and restore me to my created purpose. Amen
Following Christ is a life-long journey that only begins when we turn from our sins to Jesus Christ. We are to be disciples of Christ who make disciples of Christ. We should always be growing in our devotion to God through prayer and the teaching, preaching and study of His Word.
What now? If you have received Christ as your Lord and Savior, we would love to hear from you. You can email us at info@sweetmonday.org. We also encourage you to:
- Find a Bible preaching church near you. Start searching the Internet for a church near you that embraces the sufficiency of Scripture, preaches the truth according to God’s Word, and emphasizes sanctification. A great place to find that information is in the “statement of faith” or “what we believe” listed on a church’s website. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Timothy 3:15, Philippians 2:12-13)
- Make a habit of being in God’s Word daily. Knowing God is how we make sense of the world around us, ourselves and our purpose. The Holy Bible is God’s revelation of Himself and His faithfulness throughout history. A great resource for how to study your Bible is 7 Arrows.
- Enter into discipleship environments. Find another Christian or Christians that you can meet with weekly to study Scripture and seek to grow as disciples of Jesus together. Take part in the discipleship opportunities that your church offers – Sunday school, community groups, classes, etc.
